Properties:
1. PH: Strong acid PH of 0.1%(Wt) solution is 2.6. Its sodium salt is neutral
2. Stability: Stable in room, but its solution should avoid self-polymerization.
3. Polymerization: It can homopolymerization or copolymerization
Applications:
AMPS is an important monomer. Its copolymers or homopolymers with different molecular weight can be widely used in textile, oil drilling, water treatment, papermaking, dying, coating, cosmetics, electronics, etc. Because of its unique formular structure_containing sulfonic acid group and unsaturated radical, thus showing excellent properties in many aspects.
